We are seeking experienced qualified Truck Diesel Technicians to work for our client who has dealerships throughout New Zealand.

Reporting to the Service Managers, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, major and minor repairs as well as maintenance on their full range of diesel trucks. You would also be responsible for training and encouraging the development of apprentices in the workshop.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Carrying out fault finding, service and repairs on a range of road trucks
• Completing job cards and paperwork as required
• Maintaining a high level of service and customer care

You will need to possess the following skills and experience:

• Qualified as a Diesel Mechanic
• Minimum of 4 year's career experience
• Be competent with computers
• Experience in dealing with diagnosis, servicing and repairs
• If possible hold franchise training certificates
• Deliver a high standard of work
• Proven ability to work unsupervised
• Have a positive proactive attitude
