Volkswagen in New Zealand is proudly imported and distributed by a dedicated world class team at European Motor Distributors, which is part of the highly respected Giltrap Group. Due to an internal promotion within the team, Volkswagen New Zealand is seeking an Executive Operations Assistant to co-ordinate all aspect of office and senior team operations.

The Role

The details of the role will include the following:

  • Providing high level support to the General Manager and wider senior management team
  • Organise and manage comprehensive diaries, travel and accommodation
  • Prepare and revise documents including presentations, emails, reports, agendas and papers
  • Taking care of general office management tasks, supplier management and staff event co-ordination
  • Coordinate team events, internal and external, as required
  • Screening emails, responding and/or actioning as required
  • Manage messages and follow-up actions
  • Administrative recruitment and HR

The Skills and Experience

  • You will need to be able to show a number of years' experience in a similar administrative focussed role
  • You will have really strong communication skills and be highly motivated with strong organisation and negotiation skills
  • You will have Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) experience to an intermediate level
  • You will have really strong attention to detail; a calm and approachable manner with a customer centric approach
  • You will be organised and calm under pressure in a deadline oriented environment
  • And have the ability to work proficiently across multiple projects concurrently
