The Company

Our client is a large automotive retailer operating across Australia and New Zealand. In New Zealand they represent some of the country's most well known automotive brands from their dealerships across Auckland.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join one of their large dealerships in South Auckland. This is a great opportunity to work in a multidimensional role across a large business.

You will need to be a great communicator as you are implementing the marketing strategy across the dealership, managing online and offline advertising campaigns, events and other marketing and communications activities.

The role reports to a Group Marketing Manager based in Auckland, but you will also work closely with the dealership management team.

Responsibilities will include:

E-marketing, retail sales events, direct mail campaigns, database marketing, press and radio advertising, internet advertising
Ensuring all group marketing guidelines are met
Preparing marketing materials in house and briefing agencies on more complex work
Maintaining dealership websites
Liaising with suppliers to ensure jobs are completed on time and to budget
Maintaining annual marketing budget
Reviewing marketing reports and info providing by manufacturers and advice managers
Work with management teams to ensure marketing activities are aligned with dealership expectations

Who are you?

Ideally you will have a marketing degree and understand marketing, branding and communications with at least 12 months experience in a similar role.
You will be a great communicator and have a proven track record.
You will have great computer skills, including Microsoft office and knowledge of adobe programmes including Photoshop and InDesign.
You will also need to have experience of database marketing and a passion for developing digital marketing.
You will be highly organised with great attention to detail.
