Diesel Technician

We’re searching for a highly qualified and experienced Agricultural or Construction Equipment Technician to join our client’s dynamic team in Southland!

You will work both in a Workshop and Field Service. You will be working on a variety of equipment, representing one of the largest Agriculture industry leaders in New Zealand.

They expect a high quality of work with good knowledge and ability working on late model agricultural and construction, or earth moving equipment.

The right candidate will be a Trade Qualified Diesel Technician, who has experience working on Agricultural or Construction equipment within a franchise environment with some brand familiarity ideally with brands such as John Deere, Massey Fergusson, CLAAS, Deutz-Fahr, JCB or similar.

About you

  • Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic or heavy engineering
  • Has at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Farm, Agricultural, or Construction Equipment
  • Has sharp diagnostic skills and excels at all types of repair work
  • Holds all relevant trade certificates and brand-specific training
  • Comfortable working out in the field and attending breakdowns
  • Has a strong command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
