Field Service Technician

At Muster, we work with a range of Agricultural Equipment dealerships across the country. We are looking for qualified and highly skilled Field Service Technicians with experience working on Agricultural Equipment and Tractors for roles across New Zealand. We welcome applicants from both within New Zealand and Overseas.

Our clients are reputable dealerships, who need skilled technicians to carry out servicing, diagnostics, general maintenance, warranty work, accessory fitments, PDI’s and COFs.

You will work on a range of Agricultural Equipment and Implements. They expect a high quality of work, but in return provide excellent workshop facilities and work environments.

The right candidate will be a Trade Qualified Diesel technician who has experience working on Agricultural Equipment and Tractors in a Dealership environment. Ideally the right candidate will have some brand training with brands such as John Deere, Massey Fergusson, CLAAS, Deutz-Fahr or similar.

For this role we will not consider applicants without relevant experience working on Agricultural Equipment and Tractors in a Dealership Environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive Remuneration (good hourly rate + bonus)
  • Ongoing career development & training opportunities
  • State-of-the-art workshop facilities
  • Field Service role – No two days the same!
  • Working on the latest models and technology in the Agricultural sector

About you

  • Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
  • Have a minimum 3 years’ experience working on Farm/Agricultural Equipment
  • Have excellent diagnostic skills and proficiency in all repair work
  • Have copies of all relevant trade certificates and brand trainings
  • Comfortable working out in the Field and attending breakdowns
  • High level of English ability (reading, writing, speaking and listening)

If applying from outside of New Zealand, you must also have

  • Current Passport and Police Clearance
  • Funding to cover moving expenses, visa application and immigration advisor fees

Our clients are very happy to consider offshore candidates for their workshops, however you must meet the above criteria AND be immediately financially able to relocate to New Zealand and settle long-term.

If you believe that you have the right skills and experience for this role, we would like to hear from you! Please apply with an up-to-date CV, training certificates and relevant Cover Letter.
